WHAT IS A BOUDOIR MARATHON?

Let’s talk Boudoir Marathons. ♡
The marathons of 2021 were a HUGE HIT! I’m stoked to have seen lots of new faces along with some familiar ones, and that everyone had so much fun together. These events are seriously the bomb. If you haven’t done one already, you should absolutely consider it.
So, what is a boudoir marathon?
A boudoir marathon is a semi-private mini experience offering affordable, short & sweet versions of full sessions, making them typically the easiest to squeeze into your busy schedule. These sessions are no longer than 30 minutes long, stacked in a specific time block at a location and on a date that the photographer chooses, and includes a select number of images (usually no more than 10, with the option to purchase more).
We try to host at least three marathons per year — for Valentine’s Day (most popular), in the spring/summer, and around Halloween.
What is a private boudoir marathon?
Basically the same as a standard marathon but, instead of being a semi-private experience that’s promoted to the public, it’s a private event for just you and your friends! Together you all can select the date, location, theme/setup, and who all’s invited. Perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, or just a girls day! (*must have at least four friends to book)
That’s what the gals in this marathon chose to do.
This past winter I had a client reach out saying she had a handful of friends who were all interested in a day of pampering and boudoir. There weren’t any marathons on the calendar at the time they wanted to shoot, but I explained to her that I offer private marathons! We then put together a cozy winter-themed boudoir marathon for them, and I’M GLAD WE DID. It turned out so lovely!!
