SPOOKY BOUDOIR MARATHON IN HOME STUDIO
October was a glorious whirlwind, and these Spooky Boudoir Sessions were EVERYTHING.
We had some familiar faces, some fresh new faces, and so much creativity. We had a Bride of Frankenstein, plenty of witchy vibes, a sultry Tooth Fairy, Maleficent, Cruella, and more. I loved getting to connect and laugh with so many inspiring, badass women. For the majority of them this was their very first taste of boudoir, and they absolutely rocked it! Every single one of these ladies absolutely blew me away, and I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did. I’m already looking forward to next year!
These creative shoots always leave me recharged and inspired in the best way. Not only were these spooky boudoir shoots insanely fun, but they allowed an opportunity for me to get out of my present comfort zone. I’m learning more about shooting in moody, low-light situations and I’ve been experimenting with colored lights. For these particular spooky shoots I used a lot of blue and purple tones. I thought the effect turned out pretty cool, but what about you? How do you feel about it?
